Dear clients and friends, People
often tell me that when they hear the words "prosperity" or
"abundance," they think of a spiritual movement or that it's
something religious. The idea that it is spiritual or religious
often scares people away from a true understanding of what the
words mean.
For those of you that think that
way, how does the following sound to you?
"they run a prosperous company"
"they live in a prosperous area"
"they live a rich, abundant,
prosperous life"
"the employees retirement plan
prospered this year"
"the crops are abundant this year"
After reading these statements how
do you feel?
Spend a few hours or a day, looking
at the abundance all around us in nature. Look at all the acorns
that one oak tree produces. Look at the seeds in one tomato. Look
at the wild flowers that "just come up" year after year. Go to the
beach and look at all the shells that wash up each and every day.
This can go on and on.
Learning and understanding what it
takes to appreciate an abundant and prosperous life starts with
gratitude for all that we have created in our lives up to this
point. It also requires a practice, a discipline, to understand
that certain laws are at work, at all times, in the Universe
around us.
Living a prosperous and abundant
life means that you could feel a "connection" to what is all
around us in this miracle called life. It does not mean that you
can just sit around, meditate, and "prosperity" will appear. You
have to be in action, the right action, if applied correctly,
leverages the Universal Laws. The laws that apply to every
being, and in fact, every thing in the universe.
What if I said that with proper
training, a whole company could approach their business with a
fresh new outlook that would help them prosper? What if I said
that with proper coaching and training, any individual could do
the same? It doesn't happen over night because one must first
discover what their own particular blocks to prospering are.
Perhaps feeling like the words
"prosperity" or "abundance" are "religious" or "woo - woo
spiritual" signal you have a block. Growth comes when we move
toward what makes us uncomfortable. A very successful business
woman said to me today that "people who start to work on
themselves first and then their business, see their business
really take off."
If you have felt some resistance in
yourself to the words "abundance" or "prosperity," maybe it
signals that it's time to begin to work on yourself or your
employees or both. Call me, I can help. The initial consultation
is free.
Go back up to the questions I posed
earlier in this newsletter and put your name or your companies
name in front of each of them. Say them out loud. How does that
sound to you? How does it feel?
It doesn't sound so woo - woo now,
does it?
Thanks, Steve |
