Dear friends and clients,

Your world is your thinking right now.

If you have ever wondered what your predominant thought pattern is, just look around. Take an inventory of your life right now. On a piece of paper or in a journal, write down what your life is like. What are your friends like? What is your biggest complaint about some of them? What about your job? Happy or complaining about it? Your boss? Your spouse? Your income? Your bills? Have enough of everything you need or do you feel like you are lacking in many areas? Take a look at your list. Write down what kind of thoughts produced those results. Maybe you can remember the moments that you had some of those thoughts. Note the connection, what you thought about you brought about.

What ever your life is filled with now, is a reflection of your thoughts, your deepest thoughts. We are not getting what we want in every moment, but what we deeply believe.

You are the sum total of your thoughts. There is no one else to blame. You are the creator. Take total responsibility. Once you've done that, on the same piece of paper, next to the inventory you took above, write down what you deeply desire. Notice what kind of thinking it will take to get what you desire on the new list. Do you see a difference? I certainly hope so.

The first inventory list is what your thinking created BEFORE you realized how much discipline it takes to get what you deeply desire. Looking at the new list should make you very uncomfortable. It could look almost impossible from where you stand right now. That's good. It is going to take a lot of work and discipline to get you that new future and there is no way around it. Imagine though, if you got everything on the first list without disciplined thinking, what you can achieve if you really do the work on your "self" that's required. Think about your power to create. You created everything on your first inventory without a disciplined effort. You were creating by accident. You can see the power of your thoughts. Now, with a disciplined effort, focused solely on your deepest desires, can you see the possibility of achieving your deepest desires?

Here's some help with how to get your deepest desires;

  1. Use your imagination power to picture, many times daily and see yourself actually doing the things on your deepest desires list.
  2. Feel what it would feel like to achieve them too.
  3. Picture the person who would have achieved those desires, what kind of words would they use? How would they act? How would others perceive them? Start acting now like that person you picture. Act as if you have already achieved those desires.
  4. Use the language of a winner.
  5. Find someone who has what you want already. Ask the person to mentor you or read a book about them. Act like them and do what they do.
  6. If you wait, you may wait forever. Get started right now on the path towards what you want. Take steps everyday towards your goals and desires. Don't wait.
  7. Continue to take inventory from time to time and take responsibility for what you are creating. It is like exercise; resist the urge to slip back into the old behaviors.
  8. Surround yourself with a coach, someone who will tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. They should be willing to risk your business. That is a really valuable coach. Pay them whatever they ask. You will not be sorry. Especially when you reach your goals.
  9. Remember, you are the programmer of your life, if you do not like your experience of the world, change how the world is experiencing you.

If you need more help, call me, it might be uncomfortable though...

Be Well,

Steve
