Dear friends and clients,

This week I am going back to writing about the twenty strategies I think are key to having a life filled with joy and satisfaction. I am on numbers 5 and 6. They are part of my upcoming book, "Wake up, Jump into Your Life." Let's start...

17 Possibility is under everything.
18 Satisfaction is first a decision, feelings follow.
19 Abundance, Understanding lack mentality.
20 Meditation and Visualization, Keys to Success.

So let's take a look at Strategy Three and Four this week.

Strategy  5 - Develop your "sixth sense muscle."

Besides the obvious five senses, we humans have one that guides us in a very different way. Intuition. We all have it. The inner voice that speaks to us in certain situations. It's that sense that we get to make a certain choice and we know for sure that it is right. When we get that feeling and follow it, things work. We often call it a hunch." Some call it luck. Whatever we call it, this feeling just shows up and guides us. This, for me anyway, is the Universe guiding me.

We can sharpen this sense by following it more often.

It is important to spend time getting quiet to sharpen intuition as well. Did you ever try to give advise or input to someone who just wouldn't stop talking? The same principal is at work with intuition. If you do not quiet your inner dialogue, intuition will have a harder time getting through to you. Meditate. Visualize. Set your intentions for the day quietly before you get out of bed. See the day unfold as you would like to. Once you get quiet on a regular basis, you will feel guided. Follow those feelings that you get. By practicing, you will learn the difference between your ego speaking to you and intuition. The more you do it, you will clearly feel guided. Try it and see.

Strategy  6 - Unlearn all that you have been previously taught.

In order to have a future unlike the past, we must go beyond what we know now. After all, it's what we know that got us where we are.

We must be willing to look at everything that we consider we know for sure. Remember, that before Columbus, people thought the world was flat. Flying was considered crazy and a man on the moon was inconceivable. The same principles apply to our lives, our businesses and our relationships. Until we begin to break apart what we know now and make room for a whole new set of possibilities, we will remain asleep to our old, default patterns. The patterns that keep us stuck and doomed to repeating.

Did you ever wonder why similar events and people seem to keep appearing in your life or business?

Until you "Wake up and jump into your life," you will be stuck.

Relearn, rethink, reveal and renew.

My December 29th seminar is filling up. Companies are registering to hear the topic of "Growing your largest asset, you and your employees." This seminar is filled with ideas on how to manage your corporate culture and get dramatic new results.

According to John Kotter in "Corporate Culture and Performance," companies that intentionally managed their cultures well, outperformed similar organizations that didn't. Kotter's research showed that within those companies that managed their culture:

revenues increased 682% vs. 166%
stock prices rose 901% vs. 74%
net income increased 756% vs. 1%

As you can see, managing your culture is critical to growth. It does not matter the size of the company. My program eliminates the blame game, stops complaining and procrastination.

Personal accountability and responsibility help all of us take charge of our lives. You can help your employees do it and take charge of your future. What are you waiting for?

Thanks and be well.

Steve
