We are What We Think About and Speak About

Hello Clients and Friends,

We are what we think about and speak about.

Whatever is showing up in our world is the result of whatever has dominated our thoughts and words. For companies and businesses, it's the collective thoughts of all the employees.

It's our responsibility to discipline our thoughts and focus strictly on what we want to achieve. For companies, it's leaderships responsibility to keep the collective thoughts and words of all the employees on track.

Take a few moments and write down what has been showing up in your life. Is it in line with your thinking? Whatever your current circumstances, you can be sure that you created it with your thoughts and words. The same goes for businesses. If the collective thoughts are negative, then the results are sure to be negative as well.

When negative thoughts float in, when you hear employees complaining or griping, take charge. Dismiss the thoughts, educate employees and managers about the collective power of their negative energy.

Be brave. Dismiss the thoughts. Do not buy what those negative thoughts are selling. You or your company can achieve what you are dreaming about. Why would you be filled with that dream if you couldn't reach it?

Dare to imagine and dream big and get into action. Help your employees see the goal. Picture the destination. Surround yourself with the images of getting there. Be diligent in weeding the negative thoughts out. Disciplined, focused thinking will prevail.

Act as if you are already there and call me this time next year and report in on the results. Or maybe not. This is probably another crazy idea of yours anyway...

Sincerely,

Steve

P.S. I have a class on relationships coming in September, co-taught with Gail Jones. Men and women, starting September 22nd. I will also be starting a new class on "Achieving Extreme Success" that will meet two Fridays a month.
