In our bodies, as spiritual
beings, we, at least I do anyway, have challenges accepting
what is, surrendering to the moment. Our mortal minds,
thoughts, say "this is awful" or "this person is a jerk" or
fear and anxiety engulf us and we feel "less than" or "more
than" someone or our mind immediately goes to "how we would or
will, change this person or change this event...." and all of
what I just described is insanity.
We can only change ourselves
and by resisting what the "now" brings us, we are not present.
By not being present in the "now," we miss the gift in the
moment, that's why it' called the "present."
If we can relax into the moment
and allow it, surrender as I like to call it..., our bodies
will actually guide us in the moment ..... by relaxing into
the now...we can see our power to create in this world. Each
of our cells is a miraculous machine with sensors that receive
the energy of the Universe in every moment. We are never not
connected to that energy, Source, The Divine or GOD. Never.
By always listening to that
mental chatter, our thoughts, tensing and judging, we are
restricting the receiving ability of our cells and closing off
the guidance that comes to us in each moment. The guidance
that comes to us without thinking. That restriction, takes the
form in our bodies as feelings of frustration, fear,
resentment, anger, judgment, etc. It is akin to a circuit
breaker on overload, eventually you "pop," like that breaker.
Relax, allow your body, your
millions upon millions of miraculous receivers to do their
job..... slow your mental chatter. Develop your ability to
witness your "self." Journal and note your "default patterns,
your reactions" to events and people in your life. There is no
need to react.....things, people, events in the Universe just
are..... there is no good or bad event in the Universe.....
Everything is in perfect order....No thing is out of order in
the Universe, how could that be? If any thing was out of order
in the Universe, everything would come flying apart.....all is
mathematically perfect and this is true in our lives.....
It is our mortal mind, our
thoughts that thinks "things should be different or
better"....that is our mind saying "I would do this
differently or I will change this person or that thing" and
the question is "how could you change now?" You cannot, it
already is....
That is always the case...we
can never change now....acceptance of things, bosses, loved
ones, events, the past and release of the future is key.
Be fully present in each
moment, taking "CARE" of each moment, giving your full
attention to now, the rest takes care of itself. By being
fully present, you are in "USE," serving the Divine, honoring
your Source, GOD, the Universe, the creative energy, whatever
you call it. By being magnanimous, going all out, fully
"USING" your gifts that you came here with, you will be in the
NOW, because fully using your gifts requires presence.
Your life will fill with joy
and sweetness. Success no longer matters and yet it will come
of itself. Without any other effort by you.
You could withhold your
gifts... St Thomas Aquinas called it Pusillanimity, and he
called it the greatest sin..." to not live full out....."
By withholding your gifts and
not living full out, you are stuck in your head, your
thoughts. Judging, resenting, plotting, manipulating,
scheming, blaming.....do you feel the energy of those words?
Do any of them feel light and easy? To me they feel heavy and
tight.... Remember, we are ALWAYS creating what we think and
speak about...do you want to be creating your reality in this
existence with what those words create?
I say, NO, NO, NO, a thousand
times No.
I am creating from being fully
present in every moment. I think often of these words,
blessed, grateful, accepting, loving, non-judgment, allowing,
caring, giving, receiving, etc.
I am always giving all that I
have in every moment, living full out. Leaving every one and
every thing a little better than I find them in every moment.
That is where I am creating from.
How about you?
Develop that "witness" within
you. Live full out, be in use, honor your Source, whatever
that is for you, by not holding back any of your gifts. That
is why you are here.
Accept this moment...... do
what is in front of you now.... live this moment fully and
well, see what happens.
