Hello all,
Thanks for all your help this year, gifts and support of
my work. The farm had a great
year with an abundant harvest. Many trainings were held and
the new Men's Weekends were started.
I am grateful for all the help
provided by Dave Gilman, Mike Melampy, Tom Lindsley, Drew
Boescher, Brian Mihelis, Jim Kaloutas, Jim Robbins, Warren
Gibbons, Perry and Freda, My Janice, Toni Stone, Phil
Albright, Jeff Ferreira, Jeannette Sullivan, Mark Callahan and
all of my many clients and students.
Thank you, I am grateful for
the many gifts of your time, treasure and talent. I am still
in the land search or farm search mode and now have the
possibility of support for a conserved farm combined with a
CSA housing development. More details will follow as we
progress. Endowments and pledges are now over $10,000 in total
and for this I am grateful. If you have pledged your support,
you will receive a bill as soon as the IRS clears our tax
exempt status. Again, I will keep you posted. My goal is to
pass the farm and the training center on to future generations
of teachers and farmers. We are always harvesting something we
planted. Facing our harvest is not always easy, unless it is
in the garden. Have a wonderful, healthy, prosperous,
joyous and satisfied New Year.
Now, for the final Sales
Newsletter of the year...
The following are my commitments to insuring another record
year of income and growth for me and my business. It is
behavior that insures my success. Included in that behavior
are my thoughts and deeply held beliefs. If my results are
less than I expected in any moment, I realize that somewhere I
have given up on my beliefs and I re-commit to them.
The following are my beliefs and behaviors for 2007:
I am a CEO.
I am a successful salesperson, teacher and trainer.
I am a dynamic, energetic,
enthusiastic motivational speaker and teacher of the Universal
Laws.
I commit to making more calls
asking for what I desire than ever before. On the days that I
feel like knocking off early, I will make at least one more
call and then one more.
I will ask for what I desire daily.
I will detach from outcomes.
Outcomes are not my job. Action is my job. Asking is my job.
Outcomes are guaranteed if I take enough action. Outcomes are
guaranteed if I ask enough people. Rejection is a necessary
ingredient of any successful business or sales person. I
embrace rejection. No is a wonderful word. NO, NO, NO, NO, NO,
NO, NO, NO, NO, NO , NO YES, NO, YES... THIS IS THE REQUIRED
PATH FOR SUCCESS.
If I have a complaint, I will make a request to help solve
the complaint.
I will make those around me right.
I will work on my relationship skills remembering that the
"greatest journey in life is the distance between two people."
I recognize that the greatest
distance in my life is actually the distance between my ego
and my real self, my soul.
I will listen to my soul. I
will act on the intuition, the thoughts that come to me from
"no where," now here. I will accept that guidance and act on
it.
I will push beyond wherever I
see the world as flat. I will set sail for destinations
unknown, remembering that "heroes step where there is no floor
and the floor rises to meet them."
I will praise and acknowledge
those around me and those who support my efforts.
I will recognize that the
people who bug me are gifts, moving me to something or
somewhere new in my life.
I will recognize that when I
think someone else is "doing something to me," or if I think
that someone else is wrong, it is actually me and I will take
responsibility for correcting my thinking.
I will remember that "I am
always harvesting something I planted."
These and more thoughts and
actions will insure another successful, record year, with the
key being, as I go along harvesting, to remember who planted
the seeds. Me.
Each month, I will look at what
is working and take pleasure in that. I will look at what is
not working and make adjustments.
I will remember the quote "If
you do not like your experience of the world, change how the
world is experiencing you..."
You can try some of these...
and add more of your own. E-mail me your thoughts and
suggestions.
All the best in 2007... may
your deeply held beliefs come true... (they will whether you
like them or not... admitting that can be the tough part).
Gratefully yours,
Steve
